If you have experienced that when riding a motorcycle, and it shakes like the handlebars, head, low-speed driving, etc., there will be jitters. The amplitude of the jitters is different, some are small while others are big. However, they are all very difficult to drive, and if the place where there are many cars, it is prone to cause accidents. So what about it?
Any equipment has three periods: a running-in period, a normal driving period, and an accelerated wear period. During the running-in period, because of the touch between the parts of the motorcycle, the stress inside the part changes, the wear is caused by the friction, and the parts are from maladjustment to the harmony. This process is always there. Jitters occur during this process, if it is a minor phenomenon and disappears in a short period, it should be considered normal.
The motorcycle enters the stage of performance consumption during the normal driving period, and various faults may occur, resulting in jitters during driving.
Clutch damage: The meshing clearance of the primary gear is too large, the tooth profile of the gear is damaged, the gap between the outer ring of the active plate and the slit on the clutch casing is too large, the rubber cushion is damaged, the buffer spring is not uniform, there is a gap between the teeth on the clutch housing.
Loose transmission: The main shaft and the counter shaft are not parallel, the gear or spline shaft hole is severely worn, the bearing is worn or damaged.
The chain becomes longer and the shape of the sprocket becomes smaller: The wheelbase error is too large when the new car is assembled, causing the chain to become relatively long. Due to the long-term jitters, the drive sprocket and the driven sprocket are seriously worn, and the chain is further elongated.
Wheel sway: Wheel bearing wear, excessive clearance; spoke loose, rim distortion; rear wheel bearing severe wear; axle tightening nut loose.
Wheel deviation: The front and rear wheels are not installed on one plane. The front fork, rear fork and frame are distorted. The shock absorber is unbalanced.
Abnormal jitters in handlebar: The thrust bearing clearance on the front fork riser is too large or the number of steel balls is insufficient. Insufficient oil in front shock absorber or wear on parts such as shock absorber piston. Wheel radial runout is too large, tire pressure is too high or too low. The inner tube of the front fork is bent and deformed.
The fuel supply device is clogged: The fuel switch is blocked, the accumulation in the fuel filter is too much, the carburetor float chamber is stuck.
In addition to the above reasons, improper operation can also cause jitters during riding.
It is worth mentioning that to distinguish the difference between motorcycle vibration and jitters, motorcycle vibration is determined by the characteristics of the motorcycle itself, and is closely related to the design, manufacture and assembly tightness. Motorcycle driving jitters are caused by motorcycle assembly, particularly due to operational reasons. Vibration and jitters can affect the comfort of the motorcycle riding. The former is inherent and cannot be avoided. The latter can be alleviated by proper use and maintenance.

There are many reasons resulting in motorcycle handlebars jitters. Check whether the front tire pressure is insufficient, whether the tire is bulging, whether the tire and the rim are deformed or improperly installed.
Whether there is a thicker patch on the inner tube, whether the front wheel bearing is damaged, whether the front wheel shaft screw is not tightened, whether there is a problem with the front shock absorber and the direction column, and whether the shock absorber is too soft. These conditions can cause the handlebar to shake.
There are also many reasons for the head jitters of the motorcycle, such as insufficient tire pressure, tire bulge, patch on inner tube, rounded rim deformation, wheel bearing damage, frontal shock problems, etc., can cause the head of the motorcycle to shake.
If it is shock absorption or the direction column is deformed, it may cause the deviation to ride. The head jitters affect the driving much. If you don't pay attention, it will cause unnecessary accidents. It is best to find a professional master or use motorcycle tools to repair.
